Usage

The NeOse Advance and associated bundle accessories (HeptaValve Mini and/or Amplifier) are operated in connection with the Aryballe Suite Software Tools. See the Aryballe Suite manual for full instructions.

Important Handling Information

• Do not open or disassemble the NeOse Advance product or associated accessories, such as the HeptaValve Mini or Amplifier. Opening the hardware casings voids any warranty and may lead to a safety risk.
• The NeOse Advance product and associated accessories are not suitable for detecting gas leakage, explosives, or potential sources of fire.
• Do not introduce saliva, smoke, food, liquids, oil, or other contaminants directly into the aspiration tubes as this will damage the sensor. 
• Keep away from water and dust as it can damage the NeOse product and associated accessories. If exposed to water or dust, dry and clean thoroughly with a soft cloth.
• Do not use in strong, turbulent airflows (e.g. fans or air conditioning) or in smoky or hazy environments.
• Do not use outside of the operating temperature range of 5°C to 30°C.
• The NeOse product and its accessories can only be used at a maximum humidity of 80% or less (at 30°C) without condensation.
• Avoid condensation caused by a temperature difference between samples and the sensor as it can damage the device. The temperature of the sample should be less than or equal to the temperature of the measuring system.
• Do not store at extreme temperatures.
• Keep away from direct sunlight or strong light.
• The device and its accessories can only be used at altitudes between 0 and 2,000 meters.

Maintenance & Disposal

Maintenance should be performed based on the recommendations specific to the hardware contained in the specific hardware manuals. For questions around recommended maintenance procedures, please contact support@aryballe.com. 

At the end of its life, the NeOse Advance product and/or its bundled accessories should be recycled and disposed of separately at an appropriate collection point. This product should not be placed in a regular waste system. 

Aryballe will perform the recycling of products if your organization does not have a process set up at your facility. Please contact our support team at support@aryballe.com to receive a return shipping label for our recycling program. 

Information on Disposal for business users in the European Union

For proper treatment, recovery, and recycling, please ensure that your product is disposed of by a registered WEEE waste carrier, in accordance with EU legislation.

Information on Disposal in countries outside the European Union

The WEEE system is only valid in the European Union. 

If you wish to discard the product, please contact your local authorities and ask for the correct method of disposal.

Disclaimers

• Disregarding safety precautions may affect the accuracy of results or place the user at risk of harm to personal safety.
• Do not use if the device housing has a crack or is broken. Ensure the cover is tightly closed before operation.
• Provided reference samples should not be ingested or come into contact with skin or eyes.
• The user assumes full responsibility for application of the device to individual use cases. Aryballe is not liable for use of the device to test hazardous products under insufficient ventilation conditions.
• Electromagnetic interferences with other electronic devices cannot be excluded. A distance should be maintained between device and a pacemaker or other implanted medical electronic devices to avoid potential interferences.
• The user assumes full responsibility for application of the device or the HeptaValve Mini to individual use cases. Aryballe is not liable for use of the HeptaValve Mini or device to test hazardous products under insufficient ventilation conditions.
• According to the SN EN 60825-1:2014 norm, NeOse Advance is a class 1 laser device.
